Hospital Requests — Can Tab ProgramAluminum Tab Collection & Recycling Project Why do I save just the tab?
Who benefits from the program? The money received from the recycling of the tabs is used to buy medical and non-medical items for Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Who saves tabs? Tabs come from all over the United States and Canada, and are saved by individual groups and brought to the hospitals in jars, bags, crates, and barrels. Within our fraternal family, tabs are collected by Daughters of the Nile, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, International order of DeMolay for boys, Eastern Star and Masonic Lodges and Shrine Temples across the countries. The generosity of other fraternal groups, schools and community organizations who also save the tabs, help to increase the ability to purchases needed items for the hospitals. Collection Points The Shriners Hospitals for Children® in Cincinnati, OH, Springfield, MA, Los Angeles, CA, and Tampa, FL will welcome all tab donations.
